IEEE PIMRC 2017 solicits submissions for live demonstrations of research results intended to provide interested researchers from both academia and industry with the opportunity to showcase their experimental work before IEEE PIMRC 2017 attendees.
Submissions should include an extended abstract of up to three pages. Abstracts should explicitly state what will be demonstrated to the PIMRC audience, and how the attendees will be able to interact, enjoy, and experiment. A full list of authors with complete affiliation should be included. Power and wireless Internet connectivity will be available at the venue. Please clearly state in your e-mail to the Demos & Exhibition Co-Chairs (not in the abstract) if any additional resources are needed for arrangements to be made early on (additional fees might apply).
Submitted abstracts will be reviewed on the basis of scientific merit, novelty and practical applications. Selected abstracts will be distributed with the conference proceedings and made available online at the conference website.
At least one student author of each accepted demo is required to register and present their demo at the conference. A Best Student Demo Award will be granted by PIMRC 2017, based on innovation and technical merit.
